Fayence is a town in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Fayence is a renowned centre for pottery and antique furniture shops. Fayence is one of France's famed "perched villages", sitting as it does on a hillside half way between the mountains and the sea overlooking the coastal plain between Cannes and Saint Raphael set between the southern Alps and the Esterel massif.
