Save the date for this year’s Ladies Vintage Car Rally taking place on Sunday 8th September from Casino Square to the Palace. Since 2014, Monaco-based association Child CARE has organised the Ladies Vintage Car rally, allowing owners of vintage cars to participate in a rally in the streets of the Principality. Volunteers who don’t happen to have a vintage car are encouraged to participate as well, as the organisation can provide vehicles to those who are interested, with or without a driver. This year’s theme is “retro chic flowers” and if previous years are any indication, the participants will be in full floral regalia. The rally starts at Casino Square and will meander through the streets of the Principality before arriving at their final destination in the Palace Square, where there will be a tombola, an award ceremony and finally an evening cocktail party. Proceeds from the rally will go to a girl’s school in Rajasthan, India. Child CARE was founded in 2012 by Martine Ackermann to promote the education of children around the world.
